Export a video's comments and mine them with Claude

Paste any YouTube video and get every comment as a clean CSV — then take a prompt to Claude to pull the content ideas, objections and sentiment hiding in them. Your own videos, or a competitor's.

Works with any video link — watch?v=…, youtu.be/… or a Short.

Why this exists

The comments are the research. Get them all in front of Claude.

A video's comments are the most honest market research you'll find — what people loved, what confused them, what they're begging for next. But YouTube dribbles them out a few at a time with no way to export. This pulls the whole set in one move: a spreadsheet for you, and a clean block for Claude, so you can ask what to make next, what objections to answer, and how your audience actually talks.

Questions

Quick answers

How do I export the comments from a YouTube video?

Paste the video's URL above and press Get comments. The tool pulls all the public comments (with replies) and gives you a CSV download plus a copy button — and, coming with the next update, a one-click prompt to analyse them in Claude.

Can I open the export in Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes — it's a standard UTF-8 CSV with a column each for author, comment, likes, date, and reply info. Opens directly in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Completely free, no signup, no limits. We built it for our own research workflow and put it on the site as-is.

Does it work on any video?

Any public video that has comments enabled — yours or a competitor's. It reads only public data through the official YouTube API. If a creator has turned comments off, the tool will tell you.

How many comments can it export?

Up to 5,000 of a video's most relevant comments in one go. For very large videos, or heavy day-to-day use, add your own free YouTube API key (panel below) to lift the shared limit — your key stays in your browser.

Power users: use your own free YouTube API key

Doing heavy research? Run the tool on your own free YouTube Data API key to lift the shared daily limit. Your key is stored only in your own browser and calls go straight to Google — it never touches our server.
